7. Data Retention & Anonymization

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

  • Account Data: Personal data associated with your account is retained as long as your account is active. If your account remains inactive for 3 consecutive years, we will delete your personal data or irreversibly anonymize it.
  • Financial & Legal Records: Data related to transactions, contracts, and accounting is stored for 10 years in accordance with French commercial and tax laws.
  • Consent Logs: Records of your privacy choices (managed via c15t) are kept for 5 years to serve as legal evidence of compliance.
  • Analytics Data: Non-anonymized usage data processed via PostHog is purged after 14 months.

Anonymization: When data is no longer needed in a personally identifiable form, we perform "irreversible anonymization." Unlike pseudonymization, anonymized data cannot be linked back to an individual and is therefore no longer subject to GDPR, allowing us to use it indefinitely for statistical and product improvement purposes.
